Constance Baker, age 72, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck, ND.

Canstance Baker was born on January 11, 1954 in Belcourt, ND to LaRose (Eugene) Laducer.  She was raised in Dunseith and completed her education in Chamberlain/ Stephan, SD.  Constance was the loving mother of 10 children, Michael, Conrad, Roderick, Brandy, David, Nathan, Tracy, Melvin, Sherry and Elizabeth.   She worked as a home health assistant in Belcourt and surrounding area for many years. Constance lived in Rolette County throughout her life and enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and going cruising. Spending time with family was very important to her. She was an avid reader, reading anything she could get her hands on.  Constance also liked listening to music, especially gospel/country music and dancing. She was a great cook and a peace maker. Constance will be deeply missed by her loved ones.

Constance is survived by her children, Michael Baker of Minot, Conrad Demery of Belcourt, Brandy Demery of Bismarck, Roderick Demery of Belcourt, Tracy Demery(Cory Laducer) of Fargo, Elizabeth (Andy) Chapman of Mandan, Nathan Demery of Bismarck, and Melvin Demery of Bismarck, siblings, Matt Laducer of Belcourt, Christopher Laducer of Belcourt, Lois (Brian) Bercier of Belcourt; grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and much more extended family and friends.

Constance was preceded in death by her parents Eugene (LaRose) Laducer and Roderick DeCoteau, significant other, Floyd Demery, daughters, Michelle Baker and Sherry Demery, son, David Demery, brothers, Francis Baker, Tim Baker, Anthony Laducer and sister Carol LaRocque.

A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 20, 2026 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:30 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Father Richard Fineo presiding.
