Connie Malaterre, age 75, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Connie Rae Malaterre was born on July 17, 1950 in Eugene, Oregon to William and Arline (Marion) Davis.  She was raised in Oregon until moving to Belcourt her junior year of high school, graduating from Belcourt High School.  Connie was united in marriage to Blaine Malaterre on September 6, 1969 in Belcourt.  Together they raised three daughters, Jennifer, Jessica, and Jacklyn, and son, Max.  Connie loved time spent with her husband, her children, and especially her grandchildren. She also cherished her loving companion, her dog Dax.  Connie worked as a teacher aide at Turtle Mountain Headstart in Belcourt until her retirement, from 1975 to 2015, 40 years.  She enjoyed the outdoors going camping and working on diamond art, crocheting, and sewing.  Connie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Connie is survived by her husband, Blaine Malaterre of Belcourt; children, Jennifer Malaterre, Jessica (Erik) Malaterre, Jacklyn Malaterre, and Max DeCoteau, all of Belcourt; five grandchildren, Jaylee (Jacob Longie), Braylee, Kadence, Eastin, and Jazlyn; and three great grandchildren, Riggin, Renner, and Bexlee.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Arline Davis, and a brother, Clay Davis.

A Celebration of Life is planned for the summer of 2026.
