Obituary

Cole Martell, age 22, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Cole James Martell was born on March 31, 1999 in Belcourt, ND to Louis Martell and Jennifer McCloud.  Cole was gifted to a second family, Godfather/uncle, Wyle Roy and aunty, LouAnn Slater.  Cole attended head start in Shell Valley, elementary at Ojibwa Indian School, and he attended High school at Turtle Mountain Community High School.

Cole later moved to Minot where he worked various jobs.  He enjoyed Pow-Wows as a singer and dancer.  He had numerous friends.  Cole was always there ready to help anybody with whatever they needed.  He enjoyed horses, wood carving, and was an exceptional artist.
