Cody Wolthuis, age 30, of Belcourt, ND passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023 near Belcourt, ND.

Cody Nicholas Wolthuis was born on January 21, 1993 to Dawn (Fountain) Lillis. Cody grew up in the East Grand Forks, MN area where he completed his education and later continued his college education in Colorado. Cody was the proud father of four children Cobain, Zeppelin, Dahlia, and Lyric. He was a loving father, uncle, nephew, son, grandson and friend. Cody worked as a concrete construction laborer for the past years in the Belcourt area. Cody enjoyed working with his hands, video games, and cooking. He enjoyed collecting knives. Most of all Cody loved spending time with his children.

Cody is survived by his significant other, Misty Longie; children, Cobain Wolthuis, Zeppelin Trottier, Dahlia Trottier, and Lyric Booth; mother, Dawn Lillis (Jerome) of Glenwood, MN; siblings, Kayla Wolthuis of Glenwood, MN, Zachary Greenwood of Ellensberg, WA, Rachele Neil of Grand Forks, ND, Gaige Wolthuis, Missouri, Brittany Eastman of Portage, MI, and Ann Gowen Kalazoo, MI; aunts, Brenda Fountain (Reed) and Heather Hedstrom (Benjamin); grandfather, LeRoy Fountain (Mary); and nieces and nephews.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Dirks, great grandmother, Harriett Robideau, great aunt, Julaine Babcock, and great uncle, LeRoy Robideau.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at 10am at Fiddler's Hall in Belcourt, ND.
