Clifford Delorme, age 80, of St. John, ND passed away on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at his home.

Clifford Melvin Delorme was born on August 26, 1940 in Belcourt, ND to John F. and Lillian (Lajimodiere) Delorme.  He was raised in Belcourt and attended St. Ann's Mission School.  He furthered his education at a trade school for a short time.  Clifford was united in marriage to Marianne Bruce in August of 1960 and together they had three children, Renee, Shelly, and Darryl.  They later divorced.  He then met Peggy Bercier and together they had children, Gail and Joyce.

Clifford worked many different jobs throughout his lifetime including at the William Langer Jewel Bearing Plant in Rolla, Leonardo Noodles in Cando, police officer in Redwood, Calif., Turtle Mountain Manufacturing, and for 5 ^th Generation Counseling Center in Belcourt for nearly 22 years before retiring.  He enjoyed being outdoors, picking Juneberries, planting trees on his land, and caring for a wonderful garden, including tomatoes, which were his specialty.  He also like playing solitaire and was always willing to lend anyone in need a helping hand.  His caring and generous spirit was felt by many.  Clifford loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.  He will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

Clifford is survived by his children, Renee (Dennis) Guilbert of Rolla, Shelly (Robbie) Guilbert of Rolla, Darryl (Patty) Delorme of Lincoln, Gail Bercier of St. John, and Joyce Delorme of St. John; grandchildren, Amber Guilbert, Autumn Guilbert, Jake Guilbert, Danielle Sloan, Jayde Morin, MaryJo Guilbert, Danny Lemieux Jr., John Lemieux, Jared Lemieux, Cheyenne Parkins, Darryl C. Delorme Jr., Charity DeCoteau, Barry DeCoteau Jr., Shaleigha Bercier, Jayden Bercier, Jaylen Bercier, April M. Delorme, and Chad L. Crissler Jr.; great grandchildren, Anthony Azure, Greyson Chidester, Cameron Azure, Jamison Azure, Imani Azure, Kinslee Azure, Khaliel Sloan, Gia Sloan, Brandon Sloan Jr., Nodin Sloan, Jayden Lemieux, Connor Lemieux, Bejamin Lemieux, Trinity Lemieux, Tucker Lemieux, Emma Lemieux, Anabelle Lemieux, Morgan Lemieux, Bentlee DeCoteau, Koiyer Ty LaRocque, Keanu Zolten Azure, and Kyson Liam Azure; siblings, Alvina Lofstrom of Sandy, OR, Mary Jane (Darrell) Henry of Belcourt, Shirley (Tino) Jaramillo of Albuquerque, NM, Cyprian (Marlys) Delorme of Belcourt, Adelia (Raymond) DeArton of Cando, Germaine Davis of Belcourt, and Ruth (Richard) Trottier; and many nieces and nephews.

Clifford was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lillian Delorme and brothers, John Delorme Jr. and James Delorme.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, St. John, ND with a visitation starting at 8:00 AM and a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM.  A private family burial will take place at a later date.
