Clarence LaFromboise, age 77, of Rolla, ND passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Clarence Charles LaFromboise was born on October 23, 1947 in Belcourt, ND to Leo and Irene (Bercier) LaFromboise.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well.  Clarence was the proud father of six children, Jolene, Sherry, Charlie, Leo, Jamie, and Clarence Jr. He worked for the fire department in Belcourt, ND for many years.  He enjoyed watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr. Clarence liked being outdoors, fishing, hunting, car racing, and riding his side-by-side, which he loved.  He also loved spending time with his companion, Bernice Morin, as well as his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and siblings. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family members and friends.

Clarence is survived by his companion of over 40 years, Bernice Morin of Rolla; children, Jolene (David) Belgarde of Dunseith, Sherry (Jason) Taylor of Belcourt, Leo LaFromboise of Rolla, and Jamie LaFromboise of Minot; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Martin (Tessie) LaFromboise of St. John, Marlin (Donna) LaFromboise of Rochester, MN, Alvin LaFromboise of Rolla, and Susan (Raymond) Morin of Rolla; and nieces and nephews.

Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Irene LaFromboise, sons, Charlie and Clarence Jr. LaFromboise, granddaughter, Wisdom, ex-wife, Evelyn LaFromboise, and many aunts and uncles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 16, 2024 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
