Clairemarie Parisien, age 13, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Monday, July 1, 2024 at the Sanford Children's Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Clairemarie Cecelia Parisien was born on December 22, 2010 at the Belcourt Hospital to Nathan Noah and Stacy Lynn (Poitra) Parisien. She was raised in Belcourt and attended middle school at Turtle Mountain Community Middle School. Claire aspired to be just like her mom.

Claire completed the seventh grade surrounded by her best friends. Her favorite song was "Buddy Holly" by Weezer, and her favorite artist was Tyler, The Creator. Every time she got a new piece of clothing, no matter what it was, she cut it in some sort of way. She loved talking to her friends every single day, whether it be in school or on the phone. The bond that Claire and her big brother Nathan "B.O." had was full of love and laughter. Leia and Claire had a special bond only sisters could share. The love that her parents had for her transcended space and time.

Claire is survived by her parents Nathan & Stacy Parisien; brother Nathan Jr. and sister Leia Ann; grandparents Conrad & Carletta of Belcourt, Brenda and CJ of Belcourt, Terry & Audra of Rolla, Keith and Sherri of Belcourt; aunts, Natasha (Lucas) Lafountaine, Chelsey (Justin) Henrikson, Amber (Jody) Delong, Teri Poitra, Drew (Mitch) Parisien, Denise Morin, Hunter Poitra, and Alexis Poitra; uncles, Cole (Ashley) Trottier, Conrad (Jade) Trottier, and Taylor Parisien; and many cousins.

Claire is preceded in death by her grandparents Dorothy Baumgartner, Estelle Dauphinais, Ronald Trottier, Linda (Don) Bjugstad, and Wayne Poitra; cousins Everly, Kass, Evan, Courtney, Jolinda, and Jonathan; and many great uncles and great aunts.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service beginning at 7:00 PM.  A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with Father Tony Hession presiding.  Burial will follow the funeral mass at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
