Cheryl Swain, age 74, of Belcourt, North Dakota passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at McKenzie Health Hospital in Watford City, North Dakota.

Cheryl Marie Swain was born on February 5, 1950 in Belcourt, North Dakota to Charles Swain Sr. and Cecelia (Brunelle) Swain. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her high school education at Lee's Summit, Missouri. Cheryl worked in the accounting department at Grand Treasure Casino in Trenton, North Dakota. She was the proud mother of three children: Kevin, Ursula, and Shera.

Cheryl is survived by her children: Kevin (Cynthia) Poitra of Belcourt, Ursula (Michael) Delorme of Belcourt, and Shera (Rory Kegley) Allard of Williston; Grandchildren: Kayla, Shayna, Kevin Jr., Kassandra,Amber, Houston, Shanyce, Jaxsyn, Phoenix, Odin, and Kru; Great Grandchildren: Keiara, Kyeri, Kaisley, Ari'elle, A'zyis, Kannen, Wrinlee, Zayne, Aasyn, and Wylder; Siblings: Norman Swain of Belcourt, ND, Carol (Dan) Herman of Grand Forks, ND, and Alvin Swain of Belcourt, ND; and nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Sr. and Cecelia Swain and brothers: Dennis, Gary, Bobby, Charles Jr., Larry, Russell Swain, and Three.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with visitation beginning at 8:00 AM and Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.
