Cheryl Nadeau, age 67, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Cheryl Rae (Knudson) Nadeau was born on March 6, 1956 in Drayton, ND to Gerald and Geraldine (Thompson) Knudson.  She was raised in Grafton and Drayton, ND, graduating from Drayton High School in 1974.  She furthered her education at North Dakota State University obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Bacteriology and Psychology.  Cheryl worked for many years at the Life Skills Transition Center in Grafton and teaching Ojibwa Indian School in Belcourt.  Cheryl was united in marriage to Bruce Nadeau on January 4, 1980 in Drayton, ND.  Together they raised six children, Chad, Chelsi, Jared, Taylor, Jessi, and Bruce Jr.  She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, and watching horror movies.  She also liked gardening and tending to her flowers. Cheryl loved spending time with her family and visiting, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Cheryl is survived by her children, Chad Nadeau, Chelsi (Eric Crissler) Nadeau, Jared Nadeau, Taylor Nadeau, all of Belcourt, Jessi Nadeau of Rolla, and Bruce Nadeau Jr. of Belcourt; 11 grandchildren, Tianna DeCoteau, Austin DeCoteau, Landyn LaVallie, Zyleigh Allick, Chloe Nord, Allie Nadeau, Aisha Nadeau, Keaton Nadeau, Zurri Nadeau, Tylynn Nadeau, and Drayson Nadeau; two great grandchildren, Syer DeCoteau and Theo DeCoteau; sister, Mary Knudson of Grafton; aunt, Charmayne Blawat of Drayton; and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Bruce Nadeau Sr., and siblings, Debra Bellamy, Michael Knudson, Penny Redetzke, and Gerald T. Knudson.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND.
