Cassie Charette, age 30, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Cassie Lee Charette was born on September 18, 1989 to Russell Charette and Nancy (Herman) Charette.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well, graduating from Turtle Mountain Community Schools in 2009.  Cassie was the proud mother of a son, Dallen.  She loved time spent with her son, as well as, her family and friends.  She enjoyed loved time spent visiting, organizing her purse, and looking at photos.  Cassie enjoyed painting her nails and beading.  She also liked her time with her siblings, Russell Jr., Lakayla, and Ross, as they had a very special relationship.  Cassie will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and friends.

Cassie is survived by her mother, Nancy Herman-Charette of Belcourt; father, Russell Charette of Belcourt; son, Dallen Charette of Belcourt; grandmother, Bertha Herman of Belcourt; brothers, Russell Charette Jr. of Belcourt and Ross Charette of Belcourt; sister, Lakayla (Tyler) Charette of Belcourt; and best friend, Tawni Vivier of Belcourt.

Cassie was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Roselda and Roy Herman, grandparents, Steve Charette, uncle, Steve Charette, and aunt, Lavonne Leno.

Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will be in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.  A meal will follow burial services at the Velma Wilkie residence.
