Carol Laducer, age 69, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2020 at her sister's home in Bismarck, ND.

Carol Jean Laducer was born on August 7, 1950 in Belcourt, ND to Albert and Cecelia (LaFrombois0 DeCoteau. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education at Fort Totten and Belcourt Schools. She was united in marriage to Richard LaVallie and together they had a daughter, Sherri and a son, Richard "Dicky". He preceded her in death. Carol then married Ronald Gene Laducer in 2000, he also preceded her in death. Carol worked different jobs throughout the years including Meal on Wheels. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, reading and watching wester movies, and in her younger years playing softball. Carol also liked to play cards. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Carol is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Jesse) Peltier of Grand Forks; two grandchildren, Brittany LaVallie and Derek Longie; a great grandchild, Breyden Vettleson; and siblings, Rose Teter of Ogden, Iowa, Randy DeCoteau of Belcourt, Cindy (DuWayne) Hurkes of Bismarck, and Joetta (Alvin) McLeod of Bismarck.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Cecelia DeCoteau, husbands, Richard "Gus" LaVallie and Ronld Gene Laducer, son, Richard Shawn LaVallie, brothers, Elmer, Jude, Linus, Stanley, Larry, Harvey, and Cornelius DeCoteau, sisters, Loretta and Doris DeCoteau, brother-in-law, DeWayne Teter, sisters-in-law, Donna and Deloris DeCoteau, nieces, and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 5, 2020 at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
