Carol Ann Kirkwood, age 75, of Belcourt, ND passed away on March 25, 2020 at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck, ND.

Carol Ann was born on August 29, 1944 in Belcourt, ND to Aloysius and Ida (Desjarlais) DeCoteau. She was raised in Belcourt by her grandmother, Margaret Desjarlais, and completed her education at boarding school in Wahpeton. She attended cosmetology school later in life but did not practice her trade professionally. Carol was the proud mother of five children, Allan, Johnny, Pete, Randy, and Sheila. She lived in Wyoming for 45 years and moved back to the Belcourt area ten years ago. Carol will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and friends.

Carol is survived by her children, Allan Kirkwood of Belcourt, Johnny Kirkwood of Belcourt, Pete (Amy) Kirkwood of Roset, WY, Randi (Cadi) Kirkwood of Big Piney, WY, and Sheila (Cliff) Hoffman of Amsterdam, NY; six grandchildren; siblings, Bernadette Laducer and Lorraine Brunelle; and her ex-husband, Allan Kirkwood.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Aloysius and Ida DeCoteau, a sister, and grandparents, Olga and Alan Kirkwood.
