Carla Jo DeMontigny, age 50, of Rolla and Belcourt, ND passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Belcourt Hospital, Belcourt, ND.

Carla Jo DeMontigny was born on November 4, 1970 in Belcourt, ND to Gerald and Bonnie (Bercier) DeMontigny.  She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well.  Carla was a prep cook at the North 40 restaurant in Rolla.  Carla lived in Belcourt, then in Tucson, AZ for many years before moving back to the Belcourt area in 2015. She loved spending time with her daughter, husband, and family.  She also enjoyed listening to country music, cooking, watching movies, and she loved her daughter's two cats.  Carla will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.

Carla is survived by her daughter, Michelle Hamley-Jean, husband of 31 years, Michael Hamley, son-in-law, Nicholas Jean, sisters, Jeanine Spotted Horse, Leanne DeMontigny, and Denise DeMontigny, and her grandkitties, Sabbath and Kilala.

Carla was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Bonnie DeMontigny, sister, Lisa Wilkie, brothers, Gerard and Jerry DeMontigny, and grandparents, Ferdinand and Alice DeMontigny.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 PM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND on Friday, December 4, 2020.  Father Michael Slovak presiding.  The services will be live streamed on St. Ann's Catholic Church Facebook and youtube account.
