Brent Bercier, age 51, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at his home.

Brent Thomas Bercier was born on April 15, 1974 in Rolla, ND to Thomas "Tom" and Leona (DeCoteau) Bercier. He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well. Brent was the father of five children, Christopher, Eric, Jaycee, Jaelynn, and Mercedes.  He worked for himself in small engine repair.  Brent enjoyed tinkering with engines and cars, especially with Nolan. He also liked cruising around and listening to music.  Brent loved the outdoors and also liked his time at the casino. Brent had a huge heart and was often viewed by his family as a big teddy bear.  He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Brent is survived by his wife, Cheryl Belgarde-Bercier of Belcourt; children, Christopher Bercier of Belcourt, Eric "Arizona" Falcon of Belcourt, Jaycee Bercier of Belcourt, Jaelynn (Dwayne Peltier Sr.) Bercier of Belcourt, and Mercedes (Nolan) Bercier of Belcourt; grandchildren, Dwayne Jr., Braxton, Elijah Jr., Hazelyn, and Sophia; parents, Tom and Leona Bercier of Belcourt; and brothers, Leo Bercier and Thomas "Michael" Bercier, both of Belcourt.

Brent was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Delvina (DeCoteau) Bercier and Joe and Ernestine (LaFountain) Bercier, nephew, Leo Bercier Jr., and many aunts and uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 13, 2026 at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND. A meal will follow funeral services.
