Brenda Lee Davis, age 69, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025 at SMP-St. Kateri Hospital, Rolla, ND.

Brenda Lee Davis was born on March 22, 1956 in Belcourt, ND to Robert Russell and Leona Ernestine (Delorme) Davis.  She was raised in Belcourt, attending Roussin School as a young girl, and graduated from Turtle Mountain High School.  Upon graduating high school, Brenda attended college at Bottineau, ND and Mayville State University, majoring in Business Administration.

After living in Bismarck for some time, Brenda moved back to Belcourt and was employed with the Bureau of Indian Affairs.  It was there that she had 43 years of dedicated service working under what community members jokingly called "The Brenda Davis" program, helping hundreds of college students along the way.  Following her retirement, she worked at St. Ann's Catholic Church in the parish office.

Brenda was a proud mother of two children, a son, Chad, and a daughter, Lexi.  She loved her family dearly and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings, and many nieces and nephews.

Some of Brenda's favorite things involved hosting family meals, holiday parties, and playing cards with family.  Brenda enjoyed going to bingo and watching HGTV and cooking/baking shows.  She enjoyed attending all of her grandchildren's events and was often seen and heard cheering the loudest.  One of her last cheerleading moments was when she attended her son-in-law, Matt's softball game in Minnesota.

Brenda is survived by her son, Chad (Shelby) Davis of Bismarck; daughter, Lexi (Matt) of Fargo; grandchildren, Christian (Moriah) Davis of Fargo, Dylan (Madison) Davis of Belcourt, and Emerson Davis; great grandchildren, Ryker, Cedar, and Rowan Davis; siblings, Howard (Bernie) Davis of Belcourt, Maureen (Richard) Williams of Belcourt, Alvina (Jerry) Jeanotte of Belcourt, Russell (Stephanie) Davis of Dunseith, Rod (Rose) Davis of New Town, Ramona Davis of New Town, and sister-in-law, Lita Davis of Rolette.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Leona Davis, grandson, Lane Davis, and brothers, Dr. James Davis, Glen Davis, and David Davis.

Brenda will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all of her family and friends.

Casket Bearers are Christian Davis, Dylan Davis, Joe Davis, Scott Davis, Monte Davis, Neil Davis, Kelly Davis, Baby Kelly Davis, and Brad Davis. Readers are Jayme Davis and Kateri Azure. Eucharistic Gifts by Jessica Williams and Shelrae Davis. Rosary led by Alvina Jeanotte, Ramona Davis, and Maureen Williams. Music by Leonard Keplin, wake, and Alvin Poitra, Terese Azure, and Ayannah Azure, funeral mass.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 17, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND.  Burial will follow funeral services in the church cemetery. A meal will be held in the church dining hall following funeral services. Father Michael Slovak presiding.
