Betty Hanson, age 67, of St. John, ND passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at Trinity Hospital, Minot, ND.

Betty Lou (Davis) Hanson was born July 18 ^th , 1955 to Donald (Tex) and Luella (Pederson) Davis in Rolla, ND. Betty was raised in St. John, ND and completed her education at St. John High School.  She married John Hanson on August 2, 1975 in Rolla, ND.  Betty was the proud mother of three children, Jason, Kelly, and Jed and loving grandmother of six grandchildren.

Betty enjoyed family and friends stopping by anytime to visit her. She also enjoyed going to bingo and the casino and playing cards with her friends to pass the time.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Betty is survived by her husband, John Hanson of St. John; daughter, Kelly (Chris) Albertson of Bottineau; sons, Jason of St. John and Jed (Terri) Hanson of Rolla; granddaughters, Keily Jo and Laney Reed Albertson of Bottineau, Johnee Jo-Marie, Andee Lynn, Camree Lou, and grandson, Tex Hanson of Rolla; siblings, Donald (Luann) Davis of St. John, Susan (Ken) Peterson of Idaho Falls, ID, Peggy (Gerald) Langan of St. John, Patty (Terry) Hudson of Edmond, OK, Jackie Davis of Gig Harbor, WA, David (Marilyn) Davis of St. John, and Brenda (Kurt Sr.) Carpenter of St. John; and many nieces and nephews.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Donald (Tex) and Luella Davis, niece, Jody Davis and nephews, Joshua and his wife Robin Langan, Kevin Hanson, and Lane Orke, father and mother-in-law, Edward Hanson and Marie Hanson-Graber, and brother-in-law, Robert Hanson.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 AM Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Rolla, ND.  Pastor Nicholas Rohde presiding.  Burial will take place in the spring at St. John City Cemetery, St. John, ND. We would like to invite everyone to join our family in celebrating the life of Betty at the St. John Senior Citizen Center directly following her funeral. Please stop in for lunch and fellowship following the services, everyone is welcome.
