Barbara Billman, age 79, of Fargo, ND passed away on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Sanford Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Barbara A. (Lilley) Billman was born on August 27, 1940 to Norman and Alice (Azure) Lilley. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her education there as well. Barbara was united in marriage to James Billman, he preceded her in death. She was a wonderful homemaker throughout the years who loved to spend time with her family and attend family gatherings. She was the proud mother of nine children, Sandra, Misty, Robin, Bobby, Darrel, Dennis, Nicole, Bradley, and Clarence. She enjoyed playing bingo, reading her Bible and praying, and watching Wheel of Fortune. Barbara also like eating out with family and loved any meal with soup available, as that was her favorite. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her family members and many friends.

Barbara is survived by her children, Sandra (Clayton) King, Misty Poitra, Robin Konesko, Bradley (Anna) Poitra, Bobby (Brenda) Poitra, Darrel (Brenda) Poitra, Dennis Lilley, Nicole Poitra, and Clarence (Seva) Sartwell; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; a sister, Patricia DeCoteau; and caretaker, Floreen Houle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters, six brothers, and Clarence Poitra.

Casket Bearers are Cole Gustafson, Bradley Poitra Jr., Braden Poitra, Brady Poitra, Vince Poitra, and Jimmy Lilley. Honorary Bearers are all family and friends. Eucharistic Gifts by Sandra King and Nicole Poitra. Music by Joe Parisien and traditional drum group.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at Fiddler's Hall, Belcourt, ND. Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND. Father Tony Hession, SOLT presiding. Burial will follow at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
