Ashley Havig, age 31, of Fargo, ND passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at her home.

Ashley Marie Havig was born on May 15, 1991 in Rolla, ND to Larry Thomas and Emily Havig. She was raised in Rolette, ND and completed her education at Rolette High School, graduating in 2009. She furthered her education at Moorhead State University obtaining an Associate Degree and then a Bachelor Degree in Social Work at MSUM. She worked as a social worker at the Lotus Center in Moorhead, MN. Her job was fitting as her caring and helpful personality was a gift for those struggling or in need. Ashley was the proud mother of a son, Ashton, whom she loved dearly, along with her "tiny tiny" niece, McKenna. Her family was so very important to her and she kept in touch daily, never leaving a conversation without a "Love You" or a hug. She made friends wherever she went and always saw the good in the people around her. Ashley enjoyed social media, video games, movies, often quoting a line from any given movie, and going to concerts with family and friends. She liked music and was gifted at singing and playing piano and guitar, often making music videos with her son Ashton. Ashley also liked galaxy and star scenes, dream catchers, and crystal rocks, gifting these things and believing that they brought positive energy to others. She recently was able to take trips to Texas with friends, to a AlterBridge and Red concert with her brother Nic, and Arizona with her sister Brittany, making memories that they will cherish forever. She had special moments conversing and joking over social media and going to the movies when Evan would stay with her in Fargo. Ashleys outgoing personality, positive energy, and loving heart will be dearly missed by her family members and many friends. She loved deeply and was loved unconditionally in return.

Ashley is survived by her son, Ashton Havig of Fargo; mother, Emily Tumey of Rolette; father, Larry Thomas of Rolette; siblings, Nic Havig of Grand Forks, Evan Tumey of Rolette, Brittany (Carson) Tumey of Fargo, Cole Thomas of Fargo, Candy Allery of Bismarck, and Mike Allick of Belcourt; her "tiny tiny" niece, McKenna Grace; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Ashley was preceded in death by her grandparents, Orville and Vera Havig and Edmund and Rosalie Thomas, aunt, Laura Hendrickson, uncle, Mark Thomas, cousin, Jennifer Hebron, and her best friend, Christopher Robin (Chris Pitsiladis).

Casket Bearers are Casey Mattson, Michael Percy, Michael Biberdorf, Alan Henry, Eric Mongeon, and Jacob Peterson. Honorary Bearers are McKenna, Brittany, Nic, Evan, Brooke, Cole, Candy, Mike, and McKenzy.

A Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Valle Lutheran Church, Rolette, ND with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Valle Lutheran Church, Rolette, ND. Burial will follow in Ox Creek South Cemetery, Rolette, ND.
