Arthur "Stinky" Tandeski, age 70, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at St. Kateri Hospital, Rolla, North Dakota.

Arthur Dean was born on March 19,1953 to Edward Tandeski and Irene Della Rose St. Germaine. He attended St. John school until the 8th grade where he then attended New England, St. Mary's. While there, he wrestled and took 1st in his weight class. He played football also. In his junior year he attended Belcourt High School where he met the mother of his 3 children, Linda Blue. He later obtained his GED. He then enrolled in lineman school and worked as a lineman for Baker Electric/Northern Plains Electric until he was injured on the job resulting the loss of his leg. He then worked as a meter reader for many years until his retirement.

Arthur Dean married Linda Blue in 1972 and together they had 3 children, Mindy Lynne, Jennifer Rose, and William Arthur. They later divorced. He was also once married to LeAnne Schindler and that marriage also ended in divorce.

Arthur Dean was great outdoors man, he had a great love for hunting and fishing. He was also an avid trapper, fur trader, and leecher. He was always in search of the "Big one" which rarely got away. Arthur spent countless hours on the water and on the ice doing what he loved. He also loved car races and he traveled all over to watch them.

Arthur Dean was always eager to teach anyone that was willing to listen. One of his favorite past times was visiting with anyone and everyone.  Talking, laughing, and telling tales that only got bigger down the line. Everyone was welcome in his home, where you could find him listening to his favorite music and if you were lucky enough, he might ask you for a dance.

Arthur Dean lost his voice on Feb 26,2023 due to throat cancer, but that didn't stop him. Arthur was a strong man who fought many obstacles and he never gave up.  One of his proudest achievements was his beautiful garden. He loved sharing his vegetables in the fall and was always so proud. Arthur Deans biggest joys in his life were his grandchildren, both biological and inherited.
