Arthur Dionne, age 70, of Rolla, ND passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND.

Arthur James Dionne was born on August 28, 1952 in Belcourt, ND to Simon and Josephine (Azure) Dionne.  He was the baby of the family and raised in Belcourt, graduating from Belcourt High School in 1970.  He furthered his education at University of North Dakota of one year, Bismarck State College for one year obtaining a lineman degree, then attending TMCC in Belcourt and finally Minot State University obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Information Systems Management.  Arthur was united in marriage to Marilyn Brown on June 11, 1984 in Belcourt, ND, renewing their vows at St. Ann's Catholic Church in 2005.  Arthur worked as a lineman for Baker Electric for a few years and then as an information technology technician at Turtle Mountain Elementary School for many years, retiring in 2017.  Arthur enjoyed playing KEYA bingo, going golfing, taking trips with his side-by-side, cheering on the Green Bay Packers, and watching Nascar and "Mark Martin."  He was a devout catholic and his faith and family was very important to him.  He loved time spent with his family members, especially his grandchildren, following them throughout their sports careers.  Arthur will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Arthur is survived by his children, Eric (Lonnie) Dionne and Crystal (Brad) LaRocque; step-children, Fabian DeCoteau, Jr., Louis (Jolene) DeCoteau, Jr., and Vanessa (Shawn) Poitra; 22 grandchildren, raising granddaughter, Kaitlyn DeCoteau; many great grandchildren, raising great grandson, Luke Houle; sisters, Joyce Morin and Shirley (Blaine) DeCoteau; and many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marilyn, five brothers, Simon Jr., Raymond, Eddy, Leonard, and Larry, and sisters, Irene Lafountaine and Mabel Beck.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 9:00 AM prior to the funeral mass.  Burial will take place in the spring.
