Arthur DeLong Jr., age 66, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, ND.

Arthur William DeLong Jr. was born on January 5, 1959 in Williston, ND to Arthur Sr. and Mary Jane (DeCoteau) DeLong.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well.  He furthered his education at college for two years. Arthur was united in marriage to Claudia DeCoteau on July 19, 1995 in Belcourt.  He was the proud father of six children, Arthur III, Waylon, Danny, Melvin, Eric, Michael, and step-children, Jesse, Crystal, Janelle, and Curt.  Arthur worked as a builder for many years.  He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and hunting. He was instrumental in teaching his grandchildren many skills, especially while camping and they loved when he played guitar and sang along. He enjoyed time spent with his family members, especially his grandchildren. Arthur will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Arthur is survived by his wife, Claudia DeLong of Belcourt; children, Arthur III (Anna) DeLong of Fargo, Waylon DeLong of Belcourt, Danny DeLong of Belcourt, Eric Davis of Belcourt, Michael Gourneau of Bismarck, special daughter, Christa Rose Davis of Fargo, and step-children, Jesse Davis of Fargo, Crystal Davis of Fargo, and Curt Lilley of Fargo; many grandchildren including Melvin and Selena DeLong; and nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, son, Melvin DeLong, daughter, Janelle Davis, and brothers, Gary Lilley, Melvin DeLong, and Darrell DeLong.

Funeral Services will be held in the spring of 2026.
