Annette Delorme, age 59, of Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Prospera in Mandan, ND.

Frances Annette Delorme was born on November 16, 1960 in Belcourt, ND to John Joseph and Irene (Bruce) Delorme. She was raised in Belcourt and completed her secondary education there as well. She went on to further her education in Bismarck, ND as well as Albuquerque, NM, eventually earning her Bachelor's Degree. Annette worked in human resources for United Tribes in Bismarck, ND. She eventually moved back home to Belcourt and worked in data entry for Blue Chip Financial. Annette had five beautiful children, Patrick, Kristin, Derrick, Brooke, and Mark Jr (Dakota); always a dedicated and very proud mother. Her children and grandchildren were everything to her, as she would always share their accomplishments or milestones, beaming with pride and love. Annette enjoyed cooking for her family and friends, and loved family cookouts and summer days at a lake. She loved to call her family, especially her sisters and children, and just have long visits. Anyone that knew Annette would always be entertained by her humor. She loved joking around, playing practical jokes, and telling tall tales, in hopes that people would fall for her hilarious stories. If you were ever lucky enough to be on the receiving end of one of those jokes, those funny stories would be shared for years to come. Annette had a heart of gold and would fiercely protect those she loved. She was a spitfire and as sharp as a tack, as not much got past her. She had a larger-than-life personality, who could light up any room with her great smile and wonderful sense of humor. She will always be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Annette is survived by her children, Patrick Gefroh of Belcourt, Kristin Gefroh, Derrick Gefroh, Brooke Gefroh (Dixon Schmalz), and Mark Jr. (Dakota) Gefroh, all of Bismarck; eleven grandchildren and one great grandchild; her mother, Irene Delorme of Belcourt; her siblings, Patrick (Kathy) Delorme of Belcourt, Ramona Delorme of Grafton, Jesse (Janice) Delorme of Belcourt, Debi Delorme of Belcourt, Carol (Alvin) Swain of Belcourt, Mary Delorme of Belcourt, Charles (Darlene) Delorme of Belcourt; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, John Joseph Delorme, sister, Sandra Delorme-Lujan, and brother, John Howard Delorme.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND with a burial to follow at St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND. A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date at St. Ann's Catholic Church in Belcourt, ND.
