Annette Aiken, age 58, of Dunseith, ND passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 at her home.

Annette Faye Aiken was born on January 11, 1965 in Belcourt, ND to Louis Aiken Sr. and Lena Leona (Deschamp) Aiken. She was raised in Dunseith and completed her education there as well.  Annette was the proud mother of five children, Natasha, Loren, Terrance, Tiffany, and Isaiah.  She was a wonderful homemaker and mother to her children.  Annette enjoyed spending time with her family members and friends.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Annette is survived by her children, Natasha (Gilbert) Aiken of Bismarck, Loren Aiken of Dunseith, Terrance Aiken of Dunseith, Tiffany Aiken of Dunseith, and Isaiah Aiken of of Dunseith; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Ronald Aiken Sr., Elizabeth Aiken, Lois Cottonwood, Arlen Aiken, and Melissa Aiken, all of Dunseith; companion, Matthew Johnson of Dunseith; and many nieces and nephews.

Annette was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Sr. and Lena Aiken, a brother, Louis Aiken Jr., a sister, Rose Mary (Aiken) Engelstad, and a granddaughter, Kalyn Aiken.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at 6:00 PM at Eagle Heart Cultural Center (Log Cabin), Dunseith, ND and into Friday, June 9th, 2023 with a meal at Noon.  Burial will be in St. Sylvan's Cemetery, Dunseith, ND.
