Andrew Grant, age 67, of Fargo, ND passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 in rural Chaffee, ND.

Andrew Julian Grant was born on March 21, 1958 in Belcourt, ND to Walter Grant Sr. and Theresa (Peltier) Grant.  He was raised in Belcourt and completed his education there as well.  Andrew furthered his education for two years at United Tribes College.  He was united in marriage to Charlotte Laducer on March 28, 1980 in St. Paul, MN.  Together they raised two daughters, Cora and Christy.  Andrew worked as a carpenter through union work and was most recently retired.  He enjoyed his work and working on cars.  Andrew enjoyed ceremony, especially tending ceremonies.  He liked beading when he was not working, which he loved, and spending time with his family members, his daughters, grandchildren, great grandchild, and siblings.  Andrew will be lovingly remembered and forever missed.

Andrew is survived by his daughters, Cora (Ryan) Allard of Fargo and Christy (Jamie) Cordell of Grand Forks; grandchildren, Isaiah, Autumn, Amira, and Gavin Allard, all of Fargo and Elliot (Briana) Cordell and Preston Cordell, all of Grand Forks; great grandchild, Yuri Cordell; siblings, Jeff (Joan Desjarlais) Grant of Belcourt, Walter "Joe" Grant Jr. of Jamestown, Sandra Short of Belcourt, and Resa Swain of Parshall; and nieces and nephews.

Andrew was preceded in death by his parents, Walter Grant Sr. and Theresa Swain, wife, Charlotte Grant, granddaughter, Meagan Cordell, sisters, Charlene Duchaine and Elizabeth LaFrombois, and brothers, Louis Swain, Dale Grant, and David Grant.

A visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
