Alice Sundin, age 96, of Rolette, ND passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Rolette Community Care Center, Rolette, ND.

Alice P. Sundin was born on December 14, 1924 in Coberg, Oregon to John and Bertha (Wolfe) Miller.  She was raised in North Dakota and completed her education there as well. Alice was united in marriage to Glenn Sundin on November 9, 1956 in Rolla, ND.  She was the proud mother of eight children, Duane, Jorgen, Dale, Arlene, Harvey, Alice, Cheryl, and Sandra.  Alice was a wonderful homemaker and mother.  She enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo at the nursing home, dancing, and baking.  She was always caring for others and often times looking out for the residents at the nursing home.  Alice loved to be with her family members, especially her grandchildren.  She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Alice is survived by her children, Jorgen (Faith) Knutson of Bismarck, Dale Knutson of Red Lake Falls, MN, Arlene Kheir of Long Beach, CA, Harvey (JeJe) Knutson of Brush, CO, Alice Sundin of Rolette, Cheryl (Marvin) Sebelius of Rolette, and Sandra Sundin of Minot; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Miller, husband, Glenn Sundin, son, Duane Knutson, sisters, Helen Tweet and Violet Smith, brother, Clinton Miller, daughter-in-law, Mary Knutson, son-in-law, Hassan Kheir, and step-father, Fred Buttke.

A private graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Dunseith, ND on Saturday, November 13, 2021.
