Akoma Adai "Batoo Makwa" Davis, infant son of Dakota Davis and Sharday Gladue, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Essentia Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Akoma is survived by his parents, Dakota "Mishko Bashkode Bishiki" Davisand Sharday Gaaskanazo Oziisigobiminzh" Gladue; grandparents, Betty Duchaine, Crystal Morin, and Dion Gladue; great grandparents, Tammy "Wabish Mai'igan Ikwe (White Wolf Woman)" Poitra and Terry Poitra; aunts and uncles, Jayden "Niibawi Bashkode Bizhiki (Standing Buffalo)" Davis, Keesha "Migizi (Bald Eagle)" Davis, Shyanne "Noodin Nagamon (Wind Song)" Gladue, and Jyle "Bungii Nigig (Little Otter)" Gladue; and cousins.

Akoma was preceded in death by his grandmother, Daylene "Ozawi-Wabigwan Ikwe (Yellow Flower Woman)" Gladue and great grandparents, Betty Duchaine and Curtis Duchaine.

Pallbearers are Uriah Davis and Dion Gladue.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 PM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at Eagle Heart Cultural Center (Log Cabin), Dunseith, ND.  Lawrence "Sun Sun" Wilkie officiating. Burial will take place in the spring of 2024.
