Adrian Thomas, age 68, of Rolette and Belcourt, ND passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at Rolette Community Care Center, Rolette, ND.

Adrian Lawrence Thomas was born on October 15, 1951 to Joseph and Rita (Azure) Thomas in Belcourt, ND. He was raised in Rolla, ND and completed his education at Belcourt Schools. Adrian furthered his education at Turtle Mountain Community College. He was united in marriage to Virginia Moran on November 26, 1971 in Belcourt, ND. Together they had three children, Darvin, Jennifer, and Sheldon. They later divorced. Adrian worked as a meat cutter for many years starting at Red Owl and then Super Value both in Rolla, the Super Value in Rolette, Boppre's in Belcourt, and finally at Jollie's Fairway in Belcourt. He enjoyed watching western movies, reading, and playing cards. Adrian loved time spent with his family and friends. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Adrian is survived by his children, Darvin (Stephanie) Thomas of Belcourt, Jennifer (Ryan) Keplin of Belcourt, and Sheldon (Cindy) Thomas of Rolla; grandchildren, Monique Azure, Kaytee Zimmer, Dalton McKenzie, Kaylob Thomas, Phoenix Thomas, Korilynn Thomas, Jason Thomas, Hailey Thomas, Coty Thomas, JoBeth Thomas, Ty Thomas, Sonnie Keplin, Shayle Keplin, Joee Keplin, Landyn Keplin, Dalli Keplin, Cory Thomas, Sophee Thomas, Jozee Thomas, Kaycee Thomas, Terry Davis, Memphis Davis, Harley Delorme, and Waylon Lenoir; great grandchildren, Casslin, Mia, Dayce, Pepper, Leighton, Precious, and Aasyn; his siblings, Ronnie (Sharon) Thomas of IL, Marma "Punky" (John) Pepion of Belcourt, Frances "Cookie" (Les) Zitzow of Stacey, MN, Angela "Susie" Porter of Jacksonville, FL, Richard (Kim) Thomas of Belcourt, and Lorraine Courville of Ronan, MT; and his nieces and nephews.

Adrian was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Joseph "Boy Blue" Thomas, Aaron "Tucky" Thomas, Michael "Beefy" Thomas, Paul Thomas, Peter Thomas, Robert "Bobby" Thomas, Vickie Heinz, and Francis Thomas.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 10:00 AM in St. Ann's Catholic Church, Belcourt, ND with Father Dennis Mary Dugan presiding. A Rosary Service will be at 9:30 AM before the funeral Mass. Burial will be at a later date in St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery, Belcourt, ND.
