Susan Manson, age 66, of Rolla, ND passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at Presentation Medical Center, Rolla, ND.

Susan Jane Manson was born on August 16, 1951 in Bismarck, ND to George and Margaret (Glum) Moffit. She was raised in Moffit, ND and completed her education at Hazelton High School. Susan worked as a caregiver at the Dunseith Nursing Home and also worked at the Chicken Hut and the Cenex in Rolla. Susan was united in marriage to Douglas Manson on October 5, 1970 in Rolla. Together they had three children, Terry, Tina, and Jenny. She enjoyed going to the casino, watching the "Young and the Restless", and working on crossword puzzles. Susan loved to spend time taking care of her grandchildren, being with her family members, and having coffee. She also liked playing cards. Susan will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

Susan is survived by her son, Terry Manson of Rolla; daughter, Jenny Manson of Rolla; six grandchildren, Justyce Houle, TJ Manson, Tracy Manson, Chantelle Manson, Rauqelle Manson, and Ethan Manson; her siblings, Nancy Moffit of Bismarck, Irene Reather of Portland, OR, Shirley Lone of Billings, MT, Rose Ohlhauser of Bismarck, Jean (Dick) Austad of Fairfield, MT, Betty Grage of Hawarden, IA, Gladys Engebretson of Columbus, NE, Donna Houle of Dunseith, Ronnie (Linda) Moffit of Lincoln, Raymond Moffit of Bismarck, and Marcella Moffit of Rolla; and her mother-in-law, Theresa Manson of Rolla.
Susan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Tina Manson, and siblings, Doug Moffit, Lee Moffit, and Jackie Dewald.

Casket Bearers are George Houle, Ryan Houle, Terry Peltier, Justyce Houle, Michael Gilbert, and TJ Manson Jr. Eucharistic gifts by Chantelle and Rauqelle Manson. Reader is Vicki Boucher.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Elick Funeral Home, Rolla, ND. Funeral Mass will be Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:00 AM in St. Joachim Catholic Church, Rolla, ND with Fr. Tai Arul presiding. Burial will be in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Rolla, ND in the spring.
